Benjamin Hobbs

A California native, Ben left the Bay Area to enlist in the Navy in 1996, where his hard work as a Machinist Mate Petty Officer Third Class earned him an appointment to the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland in 1998. Graduating with the storied class of 2002 with a degree in Political Science, he accepted a commission in the Marine Corps and trained as a logistics officer before deploying overseas to Japan and South Korea. During his combat tour to Al Asad, Iraq in 2007 Ben oversaw the logistics for an entire Marine Aircraft Group, including the first operational deployment of a MV-22 Osprey squadron. Serving in Afghanistan on a Joint Staff in 2009, he was commended for his role in the creation of a Congressionally-directed oversight directorate for armed contractors and private security companies employed in-country. Saving millions of dollars in vehicles and material, and lives, Ben implemented an in-transit visibility capability for armed convoys. After leaving the active-duty Marine Corps in 2013, this combat veteran chose San Diego as his future home and applied his knowledge of veterans benefits to further his education, earning a Master of Science in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego. Following graduation, he began a career supporting business development activities in the government sector before deciding to better serve his community by helping people realize their dreams of home ownership in America’s Finest City. Brandy is no stranger to real estate or business. Born in Hawaii, she grew up in Colorado where her mom owned and operated a real estate company. Before getting her real estate license, Brandy, who has her degree in Business Management from the University of Colorado, owned and operated her own household goods moving company which she franchised. Brandy has been an active real estate agent for over 10 years, and enjoys helping clients with the amazing investment that is a home. She is the busy mom of three children, a daughter and identical twin boys. She enjoys walking the beach and keeping active and deems San Diego the best city she’s ever lived in.

Hunter Gammill

Hunter was born and raised in Arkansas.  He is a natural with real estate, having grown up surrounded by family members working in the real estate industry in his home town.  At home he saw his father work in construction, building homes in the area.  His mother then took over as the listing agent on those properties.  His grandfather was one of the biggest real estate developers in the state.  While he could have followed in the family footsteps, California living caught his interest many years ago when he visited on a vacation.  As soon as he could he packed up, drove across the country and hasn’t looked back.  Hunter is hardworking and dedicated to ensuring the best customer service possible.  In his spare time he likes to surf, swim, hunt and take his bike off roading.

This former Marine came to San Diego in 1996 where as an infantryman he learned to embrace selfless leadership in taking care of his own. He excelled as a Non Commissioned officer, earning two meritorious promotions and an appointment to the United States Naval Academy. He graduated with a B.S degree in Economics in 2003. He attended the Navy Supply School in Athens, GA and was commissioned as a Marine Aviation Logistics officer. He commanded his own logistics detachment in Al Taqaddum, Iraq where he saved thousands of man hours, perhaps lives, by expediting the flow of material across a complex supply chain to a Marine forward operating base air base. Upon return to the United States in 2007, his commanding officer had him trained in Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints methodologies; he then mentored 900 enlisted Marines in process improvement to enhance the unit’s performance. He garnered an award for exceptional achievement which was personally handed to him by the commandant of the Marine Corps. After leaving the Corps, the veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan started his own business leveraging his expertise as a logistician, project manager, Real Estate investor, and leader. He specializes in helping service members and veterans buy, sell, or build their own homes. In July, 2010, he served his country again with the US Combined Armed Services Rugby team as he played rugby in Australia against the Australian Armed Services Rugby team. Minjae Kim

Minjae is originally from New York City, but traveled all over the world during his 10 years in the United States Marine Corps. He has been a resident of San Diego since 2004 when he was stationed at MCAS Miramar. During his time in the Marine Corps, Minjae served as a supply logistician and a combat marksmanship trainer.  He earned three navy achievement medals and won the 1000yd line rifle match at the 2007 Inter-Service Rifle Championship. He purchased his first home when he was 25 and has made several real estate investments since then. After his time in the Marine Corps, Minjae pursued his degree in Business Management and quite naturally ventured into real estate as a full time career. When he’s not working, Minjae enjoys skydiving and spending time with his dog Kai.

Prior to business school, Patrick served our nation in the U.S. Navy as an officer. Yvette Martinez

Yvette was born and raised in a small South Texas border town. She attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated in 2003 with a BA in Psychology and minor in Sociology. She was the first in her family to attend college. Shortly after graduating she decided to try something new, so she moved out to San Diego. She landed at a real estate office, learned the ropes from a top-producing Broker and became a buyer's agent. Earning her real estate salesperson license in 2005 and Broker's license in 2009. For a brief time Yvette lived in Silicon Valley and spent some time exploring the Bay Area, the West Coast, and going on hikes at Yosemite, but in 2011 she decided it was time to return to San Diego. After several years in the business she started doing transaction coordination work. Yvette has worked on over 1900 transactions. She’s very detailed oriented, organized, and good at tracking deadlines.  She helps clients and agents alike keep on top of all the necessary paperwork required in a real estate transaction. Yvonne decided that there was more to life than watching the rain fall in Northern England and left in 1989 to embark on her journey to the USA. After spending five years in Hawaii she decided that island life wasn’t for her. After a day trip to San Diego, she decided that she had found home and moved to San Diego. In 2001 she started her real estate career as an agent. After taking a break for a few years to help husband in the restaurant industry she realized that she missed working in real estate. When she joined the Reef Point team she brought a strong work ethic to include detailed orientated paperwork, speed and efficiency and customer service skills. While not at work she is at her daughter’s softball field several times week to support and encourage her little one. She will also find any excuse to attend a Padres game or to go to the beach.
